EnSeCo Installs New MSSR Radar System in Sagarejo

EnSeCo has installed a new Mode S Monopulse Secondary Surveillance Radar (MSSR-S) in the Sagarejo region of Georgia. The new radar significantly enhances the country’s airspace surveillance capabilities and represents a significant milestone in developing Georgia’s national air traffic surveillance system.

As part of the project, EnSeCo carried out the full cycle of activities, including assembly, installation, SAT, and preparation of the radar equipment for commissioning.

Implementing this project has significantly expanded the coverage area of Georgia’s ATM surveillance network and improved the overall performance of the country's air traffic management system, both over land and the Black Sea region.

The new MSSR will provide more accurate and reliable tracking of air traffic and serve as an important step toward the modernisation of Georgia’s air navigation infrastructure.
