EnSeCo has successfully completed the installation of a Category II Instrument Landing System (ILS) combined with Distance Measuring Equipment (DME) at Batumi International Airport. The system has been deployed on Runway 12 and fully complies with international standards for navigational aids.
The newly installed ILS/DME-12 system will significantly enhance the regularity and safety of flights to Batumi Airport, ensuring reliable navigation support under all weather conditions.
Installed equipment includes:
- ILS – Model 2100
- DME – Model 1118A
- RCSU – Model 2238
As part of the project, EnSeCo completed the full cycle of work, including installation, system configuration, as well as ground and flight testing. All activities were carried out on schedule and in close cooperation with the technical staff of Sakaeronavigatsia.
This project marks another milestone in the modernization of Georgia’s air navigation infrastructure and reinforces EnSeCo’s reputation as a trusted partner in the field of air traffic management.
