EnSeCo has completed the configuration of a new Mode S Monopulse Secondary Surveillance Radar (MSSR-S) in the Turkmenbashi Airport region. The new radar significantly enhances the country’s airspace surveillance capabilities and marks an important milestone in the development of Turkmenistan’s national air traffic management system.
As part of the project, EnSeCo specialists carried out the configuration, testing, SAT, and preparation of the radar equipment for commissioning.
The implementation of this project has significantly expanded the coverage area of Turkmenistan’s ATC surveillance network and improved the overall performance of the air traffic management system in the western part of the country, including the airspace over the Caspian Sea.
The new MSSR system will provide more accurate and reliable tracking of air traffic and represents a key step forward in the ongoing modernization of Turkmenistan’s air navigation infrastructure.
